BECOMING LESS ANXIOUS was created for adult learners in tutoring or upgrading programs. However, it can be used by anyone who wants to relax and lower their stress and anxiety.
Many learners may feel anxious about returning to upgrade their skills. They may have had bad experiences while at school and are nervous about trying again. There could have been trauma, which can affect learning.
It may help to remember that feeling worried & anxious happens to all of us at some time or another. It is very normal to feel anxious when starting something new or something that was difficult in the past. You may want to tell your tutor or instructor when anxious feelings are making it a bit tough to learn or to remember things.
